The rings & materials
Our rings combine forged carbon fiber with natural and precious materials. These include reclaimed and exotic woods such as whiskey barrel oak, olive, cocobolo, redwood and Karelian birch, plus black ceramic, titanium, solid brass, 925 sterling silver, stone and mineral inlays such as malachite, turquoise and opal, genuine Campo del Cielo meteorite, and real gold leaf.
Forged carbon fiber is carbon strands compressed under high pressure into a solid marbled material. It is very light, strong, and does not tarnish or rust. The pressing forms a unique pattern on every ring.
Both are light and durable. Titanium is a hypoallergenic metal with a brushed or polished finish and a solid feel on the hand. Forged carbon fiber is a non-metal with a marbled black look, even lighter on the finger, and a pattern unique to each ring. Titanium suits those who want a classic metal band, while carbon fiber suits those who want a modern lightweight look. Several of our rings pair both materials together.
Titanium and black ceramic are hypoallergenic and suit sensitive skin. Rings with a wood interior have no metal touching the skin. Sterling silver is generally well tolerated. Brass contains copper and can leave a temporary harmless mark on some skin.
Yes. The stone inlays are natural crushed malachite, turquoise and opal, and the meteorite is genuine Campo del Cielo. The gold leaf is real gold.
Every ring is made to order, so the natural wood grain, stone banding and carbon pattern are unique to each piece. Your ring will match the style and materials shown, with its own one of a kind character.
Rings that contain metal or carbon fiber are electrically conductive, so remove them near live electrical work. All ceramic rings are non conductive.
Care & wear
Wipe it with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth and store it in its box away from other jewelry. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. A full sizing and care guide is included with every order.
The rings handle brief splashes and hand washing. Remove them before showering, swimming or prolonged soaking, since natural wood and stone do not like prolonged moisture. Sealed inlays resist everyday splashes.
Yes. The rings are made for daily wear. Take the ring off for heavy manual work or anything with a risk of hard impact, since ceramic can chip on a sharp knock.
Natural wood and brass develop character with wear. Brass forms a living patina and some woods deepen in tone. This is normal and part of the material. Carbon fiber, titanium and ceramic keep their look.
